Putting the needs of our community before our own is an integral part of Intradiem’s culture. Our clients invest in us and in turn, we invest in the community, by dedicating time and money to MUST Ministries and other organizations, such as ALS Association of Georgia, Camp Sunshine, D.A.D.S. Downs Syndrome Association of Atlanta, Sheltering Grace and more.
Employee Participation
A major part of this investment is employee time. Every Intradiem employee is given five paid days a year to perform community service at an organization of their choice.
MUST Ministries and Intradiem
Employees at Intradiem, from the top down, have worked together since 2008 to serve MUST Ministries, a local non-profit organization in Marietta, Ga. that provides shelter and services to persons and families in crisis including mentoring programs, day services, food, clothing and financial assistance.
Our relationship with MUST began by serving lunch to the homeless at the organization’s Loaves and Fishes Kitchen one day each quarter. When MUST expanded their walls in 2009, we dedicated additional time to help paint and decorate the shelter.
In addition to serving lunches, we held quarterly events such as food and clothing drives, raised money to provide bus tickets for MUST recipients, purchased 20 bicycles and decorated the shelter for the holidays.
Intradiem employees also participated in Serve@Work projects initiated by High Tech Ministries. In 2010, we helped build a playground for the children of the homeless families temporarily living in the MUST Ministries’ shelter. In 2011, Intradiem employees participated in the “Make it Feel Like Home” project which included remodeling the dining room, building a welcome area for greeting guests, painting a fun mural in the back parking lot next to the playground as well as a landscape sanctuary.
As we continue our fourth year of community service, Intradiem looks forward to additional projects with MUST Ministries with an added focus on helping guests get back into the workforce. The Intradiem team helps find opportunities, write resumes and collects business clothing for interviewing.
